Tried & True Roast Chicken

Ingredients:

1 Chicken 4 lbs

Oregano

Salt

Pepper

 

Pre heat the oven to 350F

Sprinkle the chicken with salt, pepper, and oregano

Place the chicken in a roasting pan, cast iron skillet or casserole dish

Cook for 1.5 hours or until the meat thermometer reads 165F or higher

Using a meat thermometer check to ensure the ribs are at a minimum of 165 F

 

ENJOY!

 

Then pick off remaining meat to be used for other meals such as fajitas, soup, sandwiches, pot pie, etc.

Don’t toss the carcass you can use it to make more bone broth.
